Newtongrange Leisure Centre
Updates
The refurbishment of the gym will commence on 12 January 2026 until mid-February. The entire centre will be closed during this time so that the works can be safely carried out. Please note, it is only the gym areas being refurbished.
We are working to relocate current fitness classes at the centre to other Sport & Leisure venues. Please check with reception for all updates on relocated classes.
Opening hours
- Monday to Thursday: 08:00 - 20:00
- Friday: 08:00 - 17:00
- Saturday / Sunday: Closed
Festive opening hours
- Wednesday 24 December - centre closing early at 4pm
- Thursday 25 December - closed
- Friday 26 December - closed
- Wednesday 31 December - centre closing early at 4pm
- Thursday 1 January - closed
- Friday 2 January - closed

- You must have had a gym induction, and must attend with an adult
- A member of staff will be there to help
For health reasons, we have restrictions on Tonezone use by under 16's. Please contact the centre for more information.
