Subject to the conclusion of the Scottish Ministers eight-week call-in period or the notification of the outcome of a call-in, as appropriate, if approved, the closure of St Margaret’s RC Primary School will take effect from 1 July 2022.

Children currently attending St Margaret’s RC Primary School will be supported to make the transition to St Mary’s RC Primary School, or to their non-denominational primary school as appropriate. The education service will work closely with the staff, parents and pupils of St Margaret’s RC Primary School to ensure children are supported effectively to transition to their new school and that continuity and progression in their learning is sustained.
