Consultation on proposals to discontinue education provision at St Margaret's RC Primary School
Integrated Impact Assessment
The council, as a public authority, has a duty under the Equality Act 2010, the Public Sector Equality Duty 2011, and the Fairer Scotland Duty (Part one of the Equality Act) to have due regard to its provisions when making strategic financial decisions. This is done through assessing the potential impact of the decision on equality through an Equality Impact Assessment. The council will undertake the process of assessment during the consultation process in respect of this proposal to ensure that due regard is given to such matters in the decision making process.
The result of the Integrated Impact Assessment will be included in the final consultation report document.
