Employing a school child

Anyone who employs a child on a part time basis must obtain a child employment permit from the school that the child normally attends. The proposed employment must meet certain criteria.

Child performance licence

This allows children under 16 to take part in entertainment, sport or modelling.

All applications must be submitted a minimum of 21 days before the date of performance or activity.
