Winter COVID-19 vaccine booster and flu programme
The winter vaccination programme starts on Monday 4 September. Visits to care home and to people who are housebound will start in October.
People should wait for NHS Scotland to contact them with details of their appointment, or prompt to book.

Those eligible
For the flu vaccination:
- People aged 50 years and over
- People aged 18-64 with an eligible health condition
- Frontline health and social care workers
- Carers (including unpaid carers)
- Teachers and support staff
For flu and COVID-19 vaccinations:
- Frontline health and social care workers
- Residents and staff in care homes for older adults
- Those aged 65 and over
- Pregnant women
- Carers aged 16-64
- Household contacts of those with a weakened immune system aged 12-64
Vaccinations for 5-11-year-olds
Eligible 5-11-year-olds will be sent an appointment.
