Here's what you told us about schools' catchments along A701
Many thanks to the parents, staff members, pupils and other interested groups who gave us their views on proposals to create the catchment area for the new primary school in Bilston and to change the catchments of schools along the A701 corridor.
Details of the opinions captured, both oral and written, are included in our consultation report, published today (Monday).
The report also gives details of a report by Education Scotland, the national body which supports quality and improvement in Scottish education, on the educational aspects of the proposals.
We will now have a period of three weeks for further consideration before making a decision on whether to progress with the proposals, either in whole or in part.
It is anticipated that the consultation report will be presented to a meeting of the full council on Tuesday 9 February, setting out recommendations.
