Penicuik property repair event

The Penicuik Heritage Regeneration Project is inviting property owners to a property repair and maintenance event, to be held in the Town Hall on Thursday, April 25 from 5.30 to 7.30pm.

Free advice

If your property needs some TLC, but you’re not sure about how to start the repair process, why not come along for some free advice? You can learn more about the funding options available to you, get tips on getting your neighbours together to carry out the work, speak with the experts and take away useful information and contacts.

There’ll also be short presentations from the Penicuik Heritage Regeneration Project team, a RIAS Accredited Conservation Architect, the Stone Federation, Historic Environment Scotland, the National Federation of Roofing Contractors and Changeworks.

Partnership project

The Penicuik Heritage Regeneration Project is a partnership between Midlothian Council, the Heritage Lottery Fund, Historic Environment Scotland, the Penicuik Community Development Trust, Penicuik First (BIDS) and Penicuik Community Council. It will see a 5-year programme of investment in the historic core of the town centre.
