Bike repair stations
We have several free bike repair stations with a pump and tools including allen keys, Philips and flathead screwdrivers, Torx keys, chain tool, various socket tools, long nose pliers, and tyre levers.

Covered cycle parking
We have free covered cycle parking with a Sheffield bicycle rack and a structure to shield the rack from the weather.
Locations:
- Train stations (Eskbank, Gorebridge, Newtongrange, Shawfair)
- Roslin Pavilion (next to Roslin Community Hall and gates of Roslin Primary School
Brompton Bike Hire
Download the Brompton Bike Hire app to rent one of eight foldaway bikes stored
Location:
- Sheriffhall Park & Ride, Old Dalkeith Road, Dalkeith EH22 1FD.
The cost is £5 for 24 hours and you can hire a bike for up to 60 days.
The bikes can be returned back to the lockers at Shawfair or to any of Brompton’s 80 sites throughout the UK, including two in East Lothian.
The lockers have been delivered by SEStran with Transport Scotland funding.
