What bus services can I use?
Frequent Lothian bus services X31, 31, X33, 140/141 link Bonnyrigg to Edinburgh city centre, the Royal Infirmary Hospital, and to Musselburgh in East Lothian, giving you a chance to visit local attractions or have a day out.
You can also use the 800 Community Bus Service that runs from Penicuik to Pathhead passing through Auchendinny, Bilston, Loanhead, Lasswade, Bonnyrigg, Dalkeith, Newbattle, Newtongrange, Gorebridge and Newlandrig.
Note: bicycles are not permitted on Lothian/East Lothian buses with the exception of folding bicycles if they can be stored in luggage areas on the bus.
