Parking restrictions
In busy town centres or if road safety is a concern we restrict parking, loading and unloading. We show this on signs and markings on the road.
You may be fined if you do not follow the parking restrictions.

Decriminalised Parking Enforcement
Our Parking Attendants can enforce our parking restrictions and issue Penalty Charge Notices.
The police deal with vehicles which are causing an obstruction (e.g. if you cannot get out of your driveway) and parking on pedestrian crossings (zig-zags).
We have the power to instruct tow-aways if persistent offenders are found to be avoiding payments. The Police can tow away vehicles if they are causing an obstruction or for either safety & emergency reasons.
These restrictions are enforced every day except December 25 and 26 and January 1 and 2. If these fall on a Saturday or Sunday restrictions will not be enforced on the next available weekday.
