Penicuik swim sessions

Sensory friendly

For people who are sensitive to the usual light and sound levels in the pool.

  • Fridays:16:00 to 17:00
  • Saturdays: 14:00 to 15:00

There will be:

  • no music
  • reduced surrounding lighting
  • a quiet room
  • no tannoy announcements
  • no hair dryers in use.

We have created a storyboard that you may find useful for your visits.

We will expand these sessions to our other facilities soon.  If you have any questions, speak to a member of staff.

Inflatable / fun pool sessions

All ages welcome in the pool but inflatable is only for 4-10-year-olds. You must be under 150cm tall to use the inflatable. 

Fun session have floats in the pool but no inflatable.  

  • Friday fun session: 14:00 to 15:30
  • Saturday inflatable session: 10:30 to 12:00
  • Sunday fun session: 13:30 to 15:00
