Local people respond to education consultation
Teachers, parents and members of the community have responded to the Scottish Government’s consultation called Empowering teachers, parents and communities to achieve excellence and equity in education.
There will be a formal submission to the government
Councillors heard at the full council meeting on Tuesday that Midlothian’s response will be formally submitted to the government by 6 January 2017.
Many thanks to those who responded
In total, 49 people responded to the survey. In addition a group response was submitted by the primary head teachers and the secondary head teachers.
The cabinet member for education, Councillor Bob Constable said: “Many thanks to everyone who took the time to respond to this important survey.”
