Help shape learning and development opportunities in your community
Midlothian Council and community planning partners are looking for views on learning and development opportunities on offer in your area.
Open until Friday 30 March 2018, the initial survey will help shape Midlothian’s Community Learning and Development (CLD) plan for the next three years, from 2018 – 2021.
Empowered to make positive changes
The plan covers a wide range of groups, classes, funding advice, volunteering and support to community groups that take place in Midlothian, regardless of who is providing them.
Introduced by the Scottish Government in 2012, CLD planning plays an important role in the delivery of key public services, contributing to early intervention and prevention and empowering people to make positive changes in their lives through learning.
Current plan rated 'Very Good'
Midlothian’s current plan, which runs to September 2018, was rated ‘Very Good’ by Education Scotland.
The survey will form part of a wider consultation which will run through to May.
