Trees and conifers available for community spaces

The Land and Countryside team have a number of trees and conifers available for planting in open community spaces (maintained by the council).

Conifer trees, golden conifers, tulip trees, Christmas trees and a number of other deciduous trees can now be collected from Vogrie Nursery.

Locations should be agreed with Land and Countryside team

Individuals or groups wishing to take up this offer are required to agree a planting location with the Land and Countryside team before collection.  Those planting trees must also ensure they are watered once a week in dry spells until this October.

Planting locations need to be at least 10m away from a property, on land maintained by the council and away from services (this can be checked by the Land and Countryside team).

Once locations are agreed trees can be collected from Vogrie Nursery, located in Vogrie Country Park, this month where advice and guidance on planting can also be provided.  This offer is only available until 30 June.
