Large grant applications now open for voluntary groups in Midlothian
The Midlothian Council Grants Programme has now opened for large grant applications. Voluntary organisations, community groups, charities and social enterprises can apply for a maximum annual award of £33,500 for a 3-year period.
To be eligible, projects must be delivered between 1 April 2022 and 31 March 2025. They also need to demonstrate how they will meet the priorities of the Single Midlothian Plan: reducing inequalities in learning outcomes; reducing inequalities in health; reducing inequalities in economic circumstances, and reducing Midlothian carbon emissions to net zero.
Applications close on Friday 15 October and decisions will be announced in December 2021.
Small grant applications will also open from Monday 1 November 2021. A maximum award of £3,000 for community projects can be applied for, for a 1-year period. Applications for these grants close on Friday 17 December, with decisions to be announced in February 2022.
