Places at our council-run early learning settings

 If you have a pre-school age child then watch out for a letter about early learning and childcare places in some Midlothian Council settings from August 2022 to July 2023.

Who needs to fill in the form

The letter will tell you to fill in the online form if:

• You want to change the days your child currently goes to one of our council-run early learning and childcare (ELC) settings or move them to another council-run setting
• Your child is waiting to start at a council-run ELC

When you will hear

We will let parents and carers know where they have been allocated a place on Monday 6 June.

Important note

This does not apply to private and voluntary ELC settings or childminders, and does not apply to the council settings at Hawthorn FLC, Scots Corner, Vogrie Outdoor ELC or Woodburn Primary School ELC . Parents and carers should contact these settings directly.
