The Waverley District Heat Network supplies heating and hot water to properties in the Waverley area of Bonnyrigg.
Heat is generated at a central energy centre and distributed through a network of underground pipes connected to homes across the estate.
Midlothian Council owns the heat network and is responsible for its operation.

Heat meter installation programme
Midlothian Council is preparing to introduce individual heat meters for properties connected to the Waverley District Heat Network.
