Your tenancy agreement
Your tenancy agreement is a contract between you and the council. It is an important document.
If you need help to understand it or if you need to change it let us know. We will contact you within 24 hours of office hours and allocate a housing officer to help you.
Moving in
When you start your tenancy you must read your tenancy agreement and tenant’s handbook.
Moving out
When you move out of your home you must give us 28 days notice in writing using the Termination of Council Tenancy Notification.
Death of a tenant
When a council tenant dies please let us know as soon as possible. Their tenancy will legally come to an end on the date of their death.
Changing your tenancy
Contact us if you need to change your tenancy.
