Still time to give us your views on Hopefield
There’s still time to give us your views on how Burnbrae Primary School should use the extra space when the new joint campus at the former Hopefield site is built.
The deadline is noon on Friday 31 March
Anyone who hasn’t yet had time to tell us what they think has until noon on Friday 31 March to respond.
You can either fill it in and hand it in at the school or
- email it to: email@example.com
It will be a joint campus with St Mary's
The new joint campus will accommodate St Mary’s Primary School and provide additional capacity for Burnbrae in Bonnyrigg.
Drop-in sessions have already been held
Three drop-in sessions have already been held where parents, staff, pupils and other local people could give their views on three proposed models or suggested any other options.
Options 1 and 2
The first option would see the space used for nursery and primary 1 pupils from Burnbrae while, if the second was agreed, Primary 5,6 and 7 would be accommodated in the building.
The third model is to have a single stream at Hopefield so pupils would be there from nursery right up until the end of P7. Local people can also suggest their own model of how to use the building.
What you tell us will inform the initial design studies and help develop a draft site plan for the proposed building.
