Have your say on Newtongrange's future

Here are the session times

  • Session 2 runs between 16:00 and 19:00.

The masterplan will focus on near the station

The design team contracted by Midlothian Council, LDA will be on hand to capture the views of residents for a new masterplan focusing on the central area, including Newtongrange Railway Station.

Drop in from noon informally

You can also come along informally between noon and 19:00 if you don't have time to stay for either of the two sessions.

Help ensure Newtongrange thrives

Midlothian Council’s cabinet member for communities and economy, Councillor Russell Imrie said; “This is an excellent opportunity for local people to help ensure Newtongrange is a vibrant, thriving area for decades to come.

The plan will bring longterm benefits

“It’s an exciting project with the aim of bringing longterm social and economic benefits to the area. We don’t want anyone to miss their chance to shape that future.”

Implementation will take years

It is anticipated the masterplanning work will be complete at the end of this year after which its implementation would take place over a number of years.
