Apply for a loan, just like Procure Wizard
Managing Director of Procure Wizard William Gorol would recommend contacting Midlothian Council to check if your business is eligible for loans of up to £100,000 as part of a recently launched funding programme delivered by Business Loans Scotland.
We helped Procure Wizard secure a loan
With Midlothian Council’s support, Procure Wizard secured its own loan with the East of Scotland Investment Fund, which came before the Business Loans Scotland programme.
The support helped develop software
Mr Gorol said: “I founded Procure Wizard as it was clear to me that technology could add much-needed profit improvement for hospitality companies whilst simultaneously reducing labour intensive and manual processes. Just a small percentage of the 1.5 million hospitality businesses in the UK used online technology in 2009, so we knew the potential for Procure Wizard was huge. We now have almost 10,000 active users who between them send over £12 million a week in purchase orders and invoices via the portal.”
The finance was invaluable
He added: "When we were looking to develop the Procure Wizard software we turned to ESIF for financial support. Their loan finance was invaluable to us, allowing us to develop the software in time to catch the market opportunity."
