Springtime at Vogrie
Visit the Park to enjoy the spring flowering bulbs. Stop off at the cafe for a drink and a snack after your walk.

Easter at Vogrie Country Park - 3 to 20 April
Follow a series of free, self-guided trails around Vogrie Country Park this Easter to spot signs of wildlife and identify spring growth. From listening for birdsong to searching for woodland textures, each stop offers a moment of curiosity and connection with the outdoors.
- Eggventure Trail
  Start in the main car park for a gentle 1‑mile loop around the North Field. Interactive activity stations invite visitors of all ages take part in simple nature‑based challenges.
- Mini Spring Challenge Trail
  Pick up your map and instructions from the main entrance hall at Vogrie House and enjoy spring based challenges at each stop.
- Join the Countryside Ranger Service for fun-filled Easter holiday events
  - Easter Crafts - Friday 3 April
    Drop in at Vogrie House from 1pm-3pm. Free to attend.
  - Pond Dipping - Sunday 5 April
    Meet at Vogrie House from 1pm-3pm. Free to attend.
  - Nature Ramble - Monday 6 and Monday 13 April
    Enjoy a stroll with the Midlothian Ranger Service from 1pm-3pm. Free to attend. Booking required.
Miniature Railway - from Sunday 5 April
The Eskvalley Model Engineering Society start their season of miniature train rides around the Park.
Nature Conservation Learning Day - 11 April
Join Midlothian Climate Action Hub for a practical workshop.
