Apply for a building warrant
There are 3 main types of applications:
Application for building warrant
For use for works to erect, alter, convert, extend, provide services, fittings or equipment, or demolish a building.
Completion certificate where no warrant obtained - submission
For use where work requiring building warrant approval has been carried out without a building warrant. We may only accept the submission if it confirms that the work complies with the standards as they apply at the time of application.
Application for amendment of building warrant
Once your building warrant is approved, building work can start.
As the building work continues, you may decide to make changes to the design. If the changes from the approved plans and specification are significant, you will be required to submit an application for Amendment of building warrant. You should detail all the changes compared to the originally approved plans and specification.
