New deadline of 13 August for Community Covenant funding
The deadline for groups and organisations to apply for Armed Forces Community Covenant funding is now 13 August 2012.
The date for the third round of funding for the Armed Forces Community Covenant has been announced. 13 August is the deadline for Midlothian groups and organisations to apply for funding. (This is earlier than the MOD advertised date to allow time for the local panel to convene).
The aim of the Community Covenant Grant Scheme is to deliver financial support to projects at the local level, which strengthen the ties or the mutual understanding between members of the Armed Forces Community and the wider community in which they live and to support veterans.
All applications should be sent to Hayley Gibb, Headquarters Edinburgh Garrison, The Castle, Edinburgh, EH1 2YT by 22 May 2012.
