Salters Road Respite

ELCAP offer respite services at Salters Road in Dalkeith. This service allow carers to take a break from their responsibilities, while they support the person they care for.

People staying at Salters Road will have the opportunity to meet new friends, try new activities and benefit from the care of staff who understand their needs and preferences. Experienced staff prepare healthy and nutritious meals and cater for any special dietary requirements.

During their stays in respite, ELCAP encourage people to develop their skills and increase their independence.  Some individuals use respite as a stepping stone between living in their family home and moving to their own tenancy.
