Assisted collection

If you have trouble moving your wheelie bins, and there is no one else to help you, we can collect your bins, empty them and put them back.

You can also use this form to tell us if your household circumstances have changed or call us on the number below.

Please note:

We only offer this service if there is no one living with you who can move your bins.
A suitable collection point will be agreed between you and Waste Services. This will be within 10 metres from the boundary (eg: gate or driveway) of your property and you may need to change the place you keep your bins, e.g. from your back garden to your front garden.
You need to ensure there is a clear path from your bins to the road which is hard standing, free of weeds, other vegetation or obstacles which may to prevent access to or movement of the bins. We will not collect bins where a dog is free in the garden.
You must ensure that we can get to your bins on your collection day, e.g. they're not blocked by cars or behind locked gates.
You bins may be emptied anytime between 6:30am and 3:00pm.
During adverse weather it may not be safe for collection crews to walk on untreated icy paths. In such cases, we will resume collection once conditions improve. Where possible, clear and grit the path in wintry weather.
