Important
All household appliances must be empty, and doors taped shut.
Cost
The charge depends on the type of waste, and the number of items for collection.
- Fridges, freezers, and fridge/freezers: £27 per appliance.
- Larger appliances e.g. American style fridge/freezers or range cookers: £40 per appliance.
- Furniture, beds, large toys and other household goods, including other large electrical appliances up to 7 items: £27.
Count items separately e.g. a bed base plus a mattress = 2 items.
- For large or heavy items, or DIY wastes, charges start at £40.
Bulky uplift charges
What happens next
- Your request goes to our Contact Centre.
- They will then email to tell you:
- the total cost of your uplift
- How to pay (payment must be in advance)
- and the date.
- Cancellations must be before 12 noon on the day before your scheduled uplift.
Place your items at the kerbside by 7am on the date of collection. This is usually the place where you put your grey bin out for collection. Please read the terms and conditions.
