Pay for brown bin by Direct Debit

The Direct Debit sign up period is during November of each year.

You can still pay for next year's service online from the middle of January 2026.

If you have already signed up for a Direct Debit

• Your Direct Debit payment will be taken on 2 February 2026.
• Your brown bin sticker(s) will be sent in early March.
• Your annual Direct Debit payment will continue until you cancel your subscription or your payment fails.

Cancellations 

• If your circumstances change and you need to cancel your Direct Debit, to avoid payment you must do this at least 10 business days before 1 February. If you cancel after that, and your annual payment is collected, you will not be refunded.
• Cancel your Direct Debit mandate through your bank. If you have access to online banking, most apps will allow you to cancel direct debit payments using your device.
