Pay for brown bin service by direct debit

If you have signed up for a Direct Debit

• Your direct debit payment will be taken on 1 February 2025, or nearest working day after, each year.
• Your brown bin sticker(s) will be sent in early March.
• Your annual direct debit payment will continue until you cancel your subscription or your payment fails.

Cancellations 

• If your circumstances change and you need to cancel your direct debit, you must do this at least 10 business days before 1 February 2025. If you cancel after that, and your annual payment is collected, you will not be refunded.
• Cancel your direct debit mandate through your bank. If you have access to online banking, most apps will allow you to cancel direct debit payments using your device.

Direct debit for 2026 service

• If you missed the direct debit deadline for the 2025 service you can still pay online by card from January 2025, and then sign up for a direct debit payment for the 2026 service during November 2025.
